Easter and the April School Holidays at the NDM
Egg-celent Dinosaur Egg Hunt
This April school holidays, all visiting kids can take part in the Easter egg hunt at the National Dinosaur Museum. Our visitors can search the museum display for answers on prehistoric eggs and babies to win a real fossil to take home.

Paint a Dinosaur Egg
At midday every day during this April school holidays, all visiting kids can paint a dinosaur egg to take home. At midday our staff will do a short presentation on the different shapes dinosaur eggs came in, then each child will be given their own egg to paint.
Note- all paints are washable.

Dinosaur Babies Tour
To celebrate its latest acquisition, a fossil dinosaur nest from France, the National Dinosaur Museum will be running special tours every day during this school holidays highlighting the various eggs and prehistoric babies the museum has on display; including the LARGEST EGG IN THE WORLD!
Perfect for all ages, join us as our knowledgeable staff take you back in time when the lords of the land were not born, they hatched!
Note: If visiting with kids we suggest you take the 11am tour, then at midday take part in the Paint a Dinosaur Egg’ activity

Every weekend and throughout the school holidays our expert guides run guided tours of our museum. The tours run at 11, 12, 2 and 3. The tours are free with admission and require no bookings, just show up!
