Let us bring the dinosaurs to you with our new Palaeontology Talks!
This specialised school incursion program is a curriculum aligned, interactive and hands-on presentation about the science of Palaeontology. Delivered by our extremely knowledgeable guides, this 60 minute program covers the definition of palaeontology , how palaeontologists understand and use fossils, what fossils are and how they form and how we can apply the knowledge we gain from fossils to our everyday lives!
Students will get a hands on and interactive experience with real fossils throughout the process, gaining a tactile understanding of the principles discussed throughout the talk, all without ever having to leave school grounds! Our goal is make more kids excited about not only palaeontology, but about learning as a whole, by presenting dinosaurs as a framework for which many fields of study and interest can converge!
Tours are tailored for both primary and secondary students, and can be tailored towards specific science subjects at request for secondary students studying a particular area of science. Our tour guides have a strong background in the sciences, and a passion for the natural world, and are trained to handle any question, no matter how strange!
Each talk runs for a total duration of 60 minutes, however they can be extended or shortened upon request. Sessions are booked at a recommended maximum of 60 students (2 classes), however multiple sessions can be booked in one day. To book an incursion, contact us at:
